Default Stadium 10

So I just got a Hot Bodies Stadium 10 kit truck that my brother in law got me with a HPI 3.0 motor installed; broken in. I love this machine. Right now I have AA's running everything but I am interested in getting this pack for the electro box: [link=http://www.onlybatterypacks.com/showitem.asp?ItemID=10426.7]Hump Pack[/link]

I have a basic Hot Bodies HT-3 Control...like I said I am new to this a little still. I would appreciate it if someone could assist in helping me get a right connector?...

I will be running rechargeable 2500mah AA's (Energizer's) in my controller. I am ordering a Fail Safe as well as a suitable battery pack within the next day. So appreciate the inputs.

Bump this new jack is back. I did read up and get information on the battery types & connectors. I am supplying a picture of my electronic box & hope I can get a minute of someones time to recommend either a Nicad or NiMH packs along with a charger/drainer.

yeah i have the venom fail safe and i run good old energizer rechargables i think they are 2500 but they seem to work just fine i also run the same ones in my radio. i do believe a battery back is the way to go i have often thought of getting one i hope this helps, but my system seems to work great so i do not want to mess with it.

Yea the idea of running a fail safe with the pack is for peace of mind IMO. Yea I can fresh my batteries every other night but the packs seem the way to go. I will be getting probably a standard 1200 pack with a charger soon. But for these easy days I will stick to my AA's cause I just replaced my box and radio with new sets.

Glat to hear you're enjoying the truck... I have one myself and its a blast to drive, very tough construction too.
For the receiver pack I am using IB Intellec 1400 cells... If you can find one of those get them, IB cells are well known in the electric world for their quality.
For the failsafe, I'm using the one from duratrax. Very compact and so far no issues at all.

For the transmitter, I've tried 2400 nimh AA packs (from sony) but ended up hating them (they now lose the entire charge after 24 hours so I have to keep recharging them)... I have a set of Sanyo Nicd cells that are 5 years old and that just won't quit. Just 700mAh but they keep their charge for more than a few days. I'm definitely getting more nicd's for my transmitters instead of Nimh

I'm glad to hear there are other people out there running these trucks. I've had on for about 10 months now and love it. A couple quick tips, keep an eye on wheel bearings they seem to go bad with no warning. Also if you ever wish to change springs Hot Body doesn'y make different springs for this but you can run Losi or Mugen springs. I found out at my LHS and this gives you the option of tuning your suspension. I'm glad your HPI motor is working. Mine was junk right from the start ended up replacing it with and O.S. 15 cv-x.

Good luck with the truck and much enjoyment.

I put some MT2 springs on my the other day cause my brother in law had some extra ones since he got his threaded shocks. I am waiting for my threads in the mail...I have quite a few MT2 parts on the way that I am going to install on my truck. If I get great luck I will get the hex wheel adapters, extend the wheel base and put the MT's dogbones in as well.....must wait to see, my brother in law already tried the dog bones and they didn't fit but he didn't try it with the extension.
