Default RE: ZN Synergy with T-Canalizer

ORIGINAL: Nickolas

Hi there,

Thanks for the answer. Have you coated the T-Can with Solarfilm covering in carbon scheme?

After building, sanding anc covering the T-Can, I plan to glue it with epoxy and cotton to the upper surface of the curved fiberglass base.

Also here are some pics of my Synergy, powered by a YS 160 DZ. It flies well but don't have many flights . The rudder is a bit enlarged, also have the original one and will give it a try after installing the T-Can.

Regards,
Nikos

Hi Nikos
Yes I have coated with Oracover in Carbon Scheme.
At the Begin I have the Can. glued with a double tape. Both Sides. At the fourth flight by extreme Wind the Can. flow away. My Friend has seen him. So I have found my Can.
On the edge I have also done a tape. On all four sides. There was too little. I want to warn you. Please carefully Only screws through the fuselage keep the Can. Believe me.

I plan to glue it with epoxy and cotton to the upper surface of the curved fiberglass base.
That is not enoght. That is to little. OK

I think the Can. ist also perfect for Integral. and many other models. On Synergy it brings many Advantages. There has been a lot written about it. There is no Hocus Pocus. The rudder is with T-Can Big enough. The horiz. Speed can be slower with only little Rudder deflection.
