Many of you have probably seen this video, but it made me think. I noticed that when the tank turned (about half way through the clip), the tracks bunched up around the sprocket. My King Tiger does that and it really bugs me, but I guess it is acurate. The camo seemed a little strange, too...maybe it was just because it was in color. Was is common to have the sprocket and idler painted one color and the road wheels the other?
I had never heard an actual Jagdpanther, but it does not really sound much like the Tamiya sound, does it? It would have been nice if they could have shown up to get some different sound effect recordings.
Yes, seen that video before and that old cat's plugs are fouled and the engine is running off song, but even still, cool.
The Tamiya fx in my Jadgpanther aren't close, even when hit and off idle.
The Tamiya KT tracks running performance can be significantly improved by installing a "spring loaded idler return system". The kit's idler system performs poorly, a well know issue.
If interested, email me off line and I will email the source for the parts many KT builders use. Simple install and no more tossed tracks or broken links.
