1st, do not cut the tip on the bottle too short. I have found that if you take about 1/4" off the end, that is plenty.

2. I also take some masking tape and split it in half, then wrap the tip to the bottle to seal the connection/joint. It prevents the tip coming off at the wrong time and helps protect your hands (and everything else ) if the seal between the accessory tip and the bottle tip decides to leak.
