It looks like I'm going with the ST GS-45. I was looking at mounting the OS .46LA in the mounting bracket of the Nexstar, and it doesn't fit. Directions say you need a new mounting bracket, along with a plywood spacer so the prop clears the front of the plane. It cost $5.00 to ship the OS back to Tower, which to me is worth the time and materials of adapting the .46LA. I don't think I've heard any complaints about the ST engines, other than they might be a little tricky to set up, but that will make me better at tuning engines hopefully. It's an even swap for cost, and has a bit more power =) Thanks all.
Is the ST suppose to fit without mods?
Just curious.
