dont want to spend 10 or so hours with a dremal
before I get to mount something

If you have purchased on of the new comebos and have the kit please chim in
The scorpion is a fun and great flying plane and you will not be disappointed. The small scorpion was really designed for motors in the 30lbs range.

As far as building there no different than anyone else’s kit’s. My builder has built a lot of different planes and brands for me over the years and they all have required some fitting.

The CG is a little too far forward on the manual for my taste. This plane will tolerate large CG changes so don't be afraid to move it around to fine tune to your flying style.

The scorpion, AD Angel, AD Phoenix are all great short field planes if built and set up properly. I have flown all three off of my 250ft field with no problems.
Here is a vid of my AD Angel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tROKHdi0EDU

If you get one don’t hesitate to call me or ask any questions.
