misfitsailor's engine idled very well when he had it over here the other day. Aparently the carb is set up to leak enough air on it's own not to load up at idle. I forget the exact #'s but I think it was doing high 13's with a 7x3 which is about what a PAW does but this engine is lighter.

I have a couple on the way so I will run tests on them.

The contra piston may prove to be too much of a PIA for me and I may put it in the lathe and turn off the threaded part and use an allen bolt instead. The other possability would be to turn it for an O ring and loosen it up a bit.
