Look at some YouTube videos of the different boats and decide whether you want more speed or more turns and burns. The SV27 was my beginner boat and I don't see you having a problem with it.... besides some fixes like leaks and trimming.
2200mah will give OK run time, if I had to guess I would say 5-6 min. Remember, lipos can't be fully discharged so you really looking at around 1800-1900mah.
