Default What's a Great 2nd Plane

I've got about 10 flights on my second plane, like you I wanted a low-wing tail dragger and once I saw the Great Planes Ultra Sport 40+ there were no other options. I heard lots of good things regarding the 4* planes, but without a bunch of mods, they are a little on the homley side I think.

My US40+ flies very nicley. I've been flying it on low rates with a forward CG, and set up like this is is a gas! Landings are quite easy, although I've got my idle set up too high and it want's to float forever!

This plane is agile enough to allow me to start fooling around with some aerobatics, and unlike my trainer, it does what I tell it too, I just have to be sure that I don't tell it to dig a hole in the runway! I did flip over to high rates for a while today. Snap-rolls are incredible...almost scary fast!

Check out the US40+, I think you may like it!
