See if you can find one that's been heat treated or of better quality. The trick will be finding one with spring but not so much that your firewall starts getting stressed from the hard landings. I've seen some guys get frustrated like you're getting and try the dual spring gear and take a hard landing then find the firewall broken or cracked.
