When you say 'chase', are you saying this is a recovery boat? That said running 15-20 in .5-1.0 foot swells is a rough ride in a 14 foot fishing boat with a 10 hp outboard. My point is that's pretty rough water for small scale model boating (under 40"). I could get my SV across the pond in that chop but I'd likly never plane it off. Wouldn't be any fun.
