Something to keep in mind when re-covering ARFs is that you will likely void the warranty, at least with a Great Planes. I never thought about it until I removed the covering on an ARF from a different manufacturer and found problems. When I contacted them and asked them to replace the wing panels I was told that since I stripped the covering I had voided the warranty. When I purchased the GP Wagstaff Extra I was thinking of making some covering changes so it would be at least a little different. Called Great Planes first to see if they also said the warranty would be voided, and they did.
