I've been doing a fair amount of research on bildge pumps, and I tryed to use a windshield washer fluid pump. The only thing I wasn't happy about is the lack of vacuum, it wasn't able to draw any water until the entire 1/2" hole was under water. And that puts a little bit too much water in my boat for my liking, considering my shaft would be totally under water by then. I have been trying to find one of those micro sensidyne pumps, but to no avail. If anyone has a website where I can get a decent pump that will actually suck water out of the hull, that would be great thanks.
