Default pumps

I've been doing a fair amount of research on bildge pumps, and I tryed to use a windshield washer fluid pump. The only thing I wasn't happy about is the lack of vacuum, it wasn't able to draw any water until the entire 1/2" hole was under water. And that puts a little bit too much water in my boat for my liking, considering my shaft would be totally under water by then. I have been trying to find one of those micro sensidyne pumps, but to no avail. If anyone has a website where I can get a decent pump that will actually suck water out of the hull, that would be great thanks.

These are pricey but they work really well. They can run dry without harming the pump, they don't have to be installed below the waterline. No impellers to replace. They are self priming and have good pressure. Just be sure to order the one with the largest diameter tubing to get the most volume if you decide to get one.

Yep, best pump yet, the moisture sensor is the defining factor, hook the battery, instal and forget. It starts when it's needed, stops when it,s not needed, and no complicated float switches to install!
