Default RE: CS engines again

ORIGINAL: AMB

Talking to both Hughes and Carlson CS seems receptive to improvements
Chevy 43s is right during making the contra a groove in the piston for an 0 ring and knocking off a little diameter on the contra would make life easier

At least on glow, one improvement they ought to consider is an adjustable airbleed. However, I've found that this is somewhat less critical on diesel. So is a muffler, in fact. I've seen the Norvel .15 diesel to be virtually perfect without a muffler. Starts easily on two or three flips and throttles very nicely. It does have an adjustable airbleed but even with this, on glow, it's not as good.

Diesel really has some magic going for it. Kudos to CS for making a nice little diesel engine. I have one and as soon as the snow goes away, I'll be running it side by side with a brand spanking new PAW for comparison.
