esc question
is it normal for this to kinda hot? i was playing with my heli inside the house since its so windy outside, and all of a sudden i could hear a drastic change in the rotors speed and it slowed down, i could still get it to come off the ground, but it didn't sound like it did. so i stopped and touched the esc and it was pretty warm, but i could keep my finger on it without having to remove it. then i checked voltage on battery and it was around 11.5 volts. i have 2 battery packs and earlier outside on my first battery pack my heli did fine, but i was outside where it was about 55 degrees and not as windy, so i came up with a few possible probs, outside being cooler it keep the esc from getting to hot (if that even matters) or in the house maybe their is interference causing it. or the battery pack is bad(2nd flight with it) it happend more than once, i would let the heli sit for a sec, then spool back up and it seem normal again and then in about 30secs you could hear it slow way down again?? so then i took it outside where its about 67 degrees now, and it did fine for about 5 mins then i could tell it was running out of juice and i checked the battery and this time was at 9.7volts. so any suggestions as to what it was would be much appreciated. i guess my main questions are, can the esc get to hot, and if it can will it slow the rotor blades down quite a bit, and can interference cause a problem like this?
