Very slick. What's the weight penalty vs a standard mount with remote needle? It looks like the backplate could be thinned at least in the bottom portion.

No penalty really considering its use ..... that is the standard QM40 engine mount. The SJ-46 mount is the same, just different mounting holes.

Probably saves .25 oz in the long run by eliminating the remote body and mounting screws
