just got back from my local hobby shop, and all they had was eflight 40 amps, and a kontronik 45amps, so i got the kontronik, the guy at the shop said 45amps won't matter, but before i install it i wanna know is 45 amps bad or is it okay? and also the three wires that go to the motor are bigger, so how am i suppose to hook it up to the motor now?
also the wires on the esky motor are red blue black, and the ones on my esc are red green and blue, it that order side by side.
so would i hook up red to red, green to blue, and blue to black?
Dont worry about the color of the wires, after you have it hooked up and the motor run backwards, just switch any two wires. Sounds wierd but trust me it works. 45amps may be a little overkill but you may not have to worry about esc shutdown, you'll probably toast the motor first but brushless motors you dont usually hear of them getting to hot.
