the voltages are all the same on each cell, but the motor or battery isn't getting hot. the new esc was pretty warm even though it was a couple of 5 sec spool ups.

remember though that it flies great outside, flew twice today outside and no probs(with the old esc) but just put the old esc back on to make sure it will still spool up longer than 5 secs but again inside after about 2 mins it lost alot of power

if it was the battery or motor, wouldn't it mess up outside too? because their not overheating in the house or outside
