Thanks for trying to help me out on this but after doing as you have described I am still getting the same error messages and the programs refuse to load.
I think some files may be getting left behind when I delete the AFPD and so stopping the install so I am going to wipe all the files that I can find regarding the program then try another install and see what happens then.

Just a quick question...have you done a complete re-load of Windows?? if so have you also run a complete update of the same?? before trying to install AFPD? Just trying to help.
