I still think the blade 400 is over rated. If you're looking for something the local hobby store has and supports then it's a good choice but if you read the posts in the eflite forums not many like the stock servos (i've had those before and they do suck), many are replacing those as well and the gyro. I think if you want a good flying heli you need better servos (like the 3114) and a better gyro (like a telebee, gy240 or logictec 2100t) so regardless of belt cp or blade 400 you've got extra costs.
The system chosen lets you upgrade the radio and the servos at a great combo price, now I'd look at a better gyro.
Yepp the Futaba 6ex radio I mentioned comes with 3- 3114 servos with nylon gears in a combo for 239.00 They have a version that comes with digital servos for 294.00, but I am leaning to just a good regular micro servo for the cyclic, and just get a high speed digtal sevo for the tail..
This will leave some money to get a excellent gyro. I'm not going with a Heading Hold gyro.. Someone here said a regular gyro will require the pilot to "fly the tail" and it will make them better at flying, so I guess I want to be as skillfull as possible.
