He's a GI Joe cut off at the hip. His legs are just his pants stuffed with cotton. I can't remember the name of this one inparticular, but he came with a headset and mike. There are quite a few GI Joe's available here in the US, not sure about availability in the UK. I would think any 12" type of action figure or doll would work. Lots of guys use a Ken doll.
