Brendon, did you say that you used an airplane radio system in a boat? I thought that wouldn't be good because it's air signal transmission.
The signal will be fine - but it may be illegal. The FCC does not allow 72mHz radios to be used on surface models, nor can 75 mHz radios be used in planes. 27 mHz can be used in either. Still, the range of these typical radios is so short that there should be no problem.
