As far as a PA cop/target, is $40k worth a life? Sell your stuff online, I do. You could get $70-85 for your FX and get a decent used Chinese engine that's satisfactory, a used GMS .47 sells cheap, $25 or so. There's your trainer money. LA could be a parts engine for someone...flying in a rough plane isn't the best idea, but I'd squeeze whatever life is left in the LA first before blowing the plane apart from the FX power.
