How far are you from your airfield? You might be able to come up with a wagon of some sort to which you could strap your plane and gear, then hook it to your bike and go! This may sound a little nuts, but when I first started in RC I had a boat, and no place to run at home. So I would charge the batteries I had(only one or two packs,usually) and stuff the boat TX and packs into a backpack and ride the 6 miles one way to the lake. Run the packs dead, pack it back up and head home. Recharge and do it again. I think I managed to get 3 trips in in one day once or twice. Could just be a matter of how desperate you are.
