From an ex moderator stand point, the posts in a language other than english were always a pain, I used babblefish on a few of them and discovered they were people telling others that they had a certain kit or part for sale. Only thing that clued me in was I still found a dollar sign in the post. That's nothing more than a work around of the rules. I don't speak any language other than english, when moderating the site it's not fair to have to try to figure out what a post in another language says. When I did use the online translator's, the english translation still didn't make sense in most cases.
I have no issues with other cultures, other languages, or anything like that, but I will say it is a major peeve of mine when I go into a business in Canada and the people working there have very little grasp of the english language, if I go to any other country I'm the one that needs to figure out how to communicate there.
Being that RCU is an english website, the posts should be in english, there are a couple of sites I've seen linked to here on RCU that were german and I couldn't find any english anywhere there, doesn't mean I hate the site, just means it's a site I can't really participate on and I'm ok with that.
It just makes it much more difficult to do anything on the site when you don't know what's being written
