I just wanted to bring up the young eagles programs for those of you who have kids who are already flying or are interested in flying.

The young eagles sponsors free general aviation flights for kids 8-17 who are interested in aviation. No cost to you, the flight time is donated by the owner of the GA aircraft and the pilot.

They have other programs that do cost money, but are well worth it for kids interested in all sorts of aviation, including radio controlled.
