Just make sure your computer has all the necessary hardware to run the Sim software. You may want to check out the system requirements specs before you decide on any of them. You may find that your computer isn't powerful enough, or has a good enough video card to run this software. And even some of the good video cards are not compatible with their software.. so check things out before you buy.
When I upgraded my PC recently, I made sure that it had the right capabilities to run the sim software. Strange.. buying a PC to match the software rather than the other way around. Tells ya who is in control here.

I was stuck in this predicament myself when I recieved my G-3 my graphics card wasn't nearly good enough for the software, and I had a fairly new computer at the time, it ended up costing me another 100$ for a decent card.
I have since upgraded to the G-3.5.065 with free down loads from
www.knifeedge.com,I like the aircraft that the Greatplanes sim has, also the down loadable planes that people have posted on the website are very good quality in most cases.
I have as many custom planes now, as from the origonal software, the guys who design them are really good, several of the sim planes I happen to have and the sim versions are very true to form and give a pretty darn good platform for practice,at least for me they do.
