Default JetCAT speed sensor

The sensor requires no calibration.

The most critical element is installation. You need to get the port out of the boundary layer.

In a nose installation you only need about an inch to an inch and a quarter total length. Just follow the instructions for other installations

As for whether it is hooked up correctly, just set the GSU to the run menu and cycle through the displays until you see a speed readout, then blow into the dynamic port ( the little hole on the end of the pitot), you should see the speed go up.

The static port is arranged so that you will not have the potential reference errors that other speed sensors have, and the sensor is temperature compensated as well!!
