Default RE: Australian BBQ and Beers (All Welcome) - Part IV

Hey Andrew,Kx or Bert or anyone...I couldn't resist and bought another Badius from Eric as my own one has wings like a banana and is a bit porky...(GWS Formosa copy guys, but better) Sadly the cowl and a few other bits were missing having been robbed for spares(will grab tomorrow) what motors and how did you guys mount them? I am thinking of aiming for a lightweight version with a 1300 3S,so I need a fairly light motor option that obviously doesn't draw too many amps and also gives reasonable performance if there is such a thing.I have a few to choose from, but am umming and ahhing a bit whether to up the kv a bit and go for a speedy jobby or go for thrust...I can always reinforce later, but would like to try a lightweight for a change. At the moment it has the Tower pro 9g servos x3,a Spektrum 6100 Rx and probably a towerpro 30 amp speedy with no reinforcement so far....any ideas?
