Default RE: Hyperion Helios F3A 63e and 10e build thread!!!

I think the Helios is one of the best ARF's Ive seen. The covering is flawless, the build is strong, and lightweight. The motor package is perfect for it, and with the recommended Hyperion motor it truely has unlimited vertical performance. It will climb straight up rolling...and just keep going and going and going.
The plane flys very smoothly and crisply on rolls, and makes nice round radiused corners mainly due to the airfoiled stabs. Tracks like its on rails. The landing gear in the Helios 63e is strong. 1/2" carbon wing tube spar, nylon thumb screws for mounting the wings. Pre-glued incidence pins in the wings.
Ball link hardware. BIG battery tray, located dead center on the thrust line to make sure the plane stays neutral in the air. Firewall was pre-drilled for the hyperion motor. The Canopy is tinted, and has both magnets, and a strong spring-loaded latch. Fiberglass Cowl is pre-cut for ventilation, and its more than enough ventilation, as nothing in the plane even remotely gets warm. Tends to land same temps as it took off.

I do recommend getting the hyperion servos with it. It will just make your life easier for the install.

The 63e is just awesome.

Someone at Hyperion was paying attention, and really truely designed this thing with everything I could possibly want in the plane. It is TOP NOTCH quality. Worth every cent! And when I say the covering is flawless...I mean flawless. It looks like a expensive glass pattern plane, and Ive even had people ask me if it was glassed.
