Default RE: 3MM engine

Has any one tried that new chinese 3mm engine yet and how does it compare?
You can find the WildHare 3mm thread here ....

I own a 3mm and have it mounted in a scale Zero project. I chose the 3mm because of the way it mounts and the carb location ...perfect for a short, round cowl. Have not flown it yet as weather has not permitted that yet .... like 5" of snow just this last Thurs.

I closely inspected the engine inside and out and found the machine work, castings and overall assembly to be very good. Better than most engines that share a Chinese origin. The general opinion that seems to exist about the 3mm compared to its DL-50 classmate is that the 3mm runs smoother where the DL has a bit more power. The 3mm is just a bit heavier mostly due to its having a dual counterweight crank supported by 3 bearings.
