RE: 3MM engine
I've flown 2 of them. Not the highest revving engine but it's an engine that's more than acceptable in performance, with the quality enough that it should last a long, long time. Like a 3w, it's power comes from operation in it's best torque band, not it's highest rpm band.
Here's a little known tidbit. Wild Hare will be marketing a small "hop up" kit for this engine pretty soon that should easily put it on a par power wise with the DL 50. It will be an easy install and make the 3mm 53 an incredible value. Currently Cermark is the primary distributer with Wild Hare and Dawghouse RC the two leading retailers.
