i have a gst 7.7 also and my friend has a traxxas revo, we dont have the major problem that your having but if i get my transmitter AM too close to his truck FM, it will make his truck twitch and do crazy things also, i know not much help but your not alone on the confusion about am and fm. Hope you get it worked out.
