Great points Piper chuck, and i whole heartedly agree. i know people are going to say " you have the cart before the horse" here, but what i am thinking is if i do drop a race engine into one of my existing hulls then i have the engine already, already broken in, until i get bored with what i have or have an accident and have to get a new hull, then put that engine into a race hull. From what i gather i can drop a .21 engine into my shockwave 36, at least get my feet wet with racing. I also have 7.5 Tunnel and a 7.5 Deep vee.... to throw a wrench into that gear work as well I could just say forget doing anything with the shockwave and just race those to boats.... See that would probibly be more logical, but whats the fun in that LOL.
