On a budget I run my .12 riggers. No limit I would be running a .90 or 1.01 but fuel for those engines will kill me.......................lol

Like piper chuck mentioned $300 for an engine in a boat that isn't designed to go that fast. I really don't think you will get a shockwave to be competitive with the .21 race boats. I am under the impression the shockwave likes to chine, if this is the case ya really need to work with that. The Miss Vegas has had some luck putting a .21 in and racing, even racing with an .18 they have luck too. The thing you need to remember you don't have to be fastest to win or place just finish your heats, my races I am happy if I finish and don't hit nothing (as far as I am concerned i win just doing that). Most important is to have fun, thats what this is all about for me.
