Fastfly, what model of glow igniter are you using ? The metered ones are useful but need more maintenance. For your problem, try using cotton swab with alcohol to clean the contacts esp the ones to the glow plug and the battery positive side. Use some metal polishing compound if the contact points are tarnished and clean away all residue with alcohol cotton swab. I have one from GP and a wire joint broke in the metered head recently. Had to take it apart (soldering work). One thing I noticed is that even with a fully charged batt, the meter does not swing full. So, I "magnetized" the meter to get a full swing. But you don't have to do this. Hope this helps................

Ok I put the Glow Plug starter on the charger......No light like I said.
Now if I squeeze the thing about .8 cm then it works...whats up!!
