I like the pics of the boat. When you run your boat you might want to run the motor a little low. The gears in the lower unit do not like to be surfaced.
Does anyone have any extra gears or know where to get them? Heres a picture of a IH store display I bought off of ebay 10 years ago.

as for the gears had a shop make them for me, cost alot
Could they be less if more where made at one time?
true but there are different sizes 40/60/80 stock / or racing lower ends . the made a lot of different gears the one that i hade made cost me 65.00 ....
