that is the best way to do it. also you can use the traxxas bb kit too but you need the tekno throttle linkage kit. the only thing is you will need a bump box to start it. unless you use the new era kit. but like i said that thing is junk. i think that i may have every thing that you would need to put one in. it also have a new os 30 gv if you are interested i would sell it all to you for a good price.
