Being you are new to RC, any buggy you are going to suck at. The driver makes the biggest difference. If I were you I would look into the higher end Ofna Buggies. Such as the Hyper 7 PBS any beyond, its a great buggy. Rock solid.
Don't get caught up in the stuff that comes with the buggy like glow starters and stuff. They are relatively cheap stuff and you will want to upgrade that stuff within a month anyways.
If you want a good deal check out ebay for used buggies.
Honestly I think if you buy a rock solid buggy now it saves in the long run. The first time you do cart wheels down your drive way at 30MPH you will know why.

Ive done that many of times with my H7 PBS, not a part broken. Could you do that with a lesser buggy? Who knows. You would end up with broken parts and replacement parts are sometimes steep.
