Default RE: Homelite chain saw 33cc

Finally did my 1st conversion after lurking for a few years. New display model Ranger 33cc saw. I'll second the wacker engines items. CJ is great and the plate mounts and firewall worked nicely. it's just on the test stand now but turns an MAS 18x8 at 7700 RPM, idles down to 1300-1400 well too. the transition stinks, but it just needs some adjusting. I have a couple very nice but 20yr old ones on the shelf. I hope they work as well.

About 1:30 intro and description of the bits.
Introduction and spec's
- In the vid I say "Hayes is ready to go for the glow" of course I meant gas, sorry.

Couldn't hand flip it fast enough to get spark (had to try) so I did the rope starter trick and it worked great. I didn't have any small rope so I used heavy construction string.

The video of the first tries and run is about 4 mins long but 2 mins of that is running.

Anyone have a tried and true homie 33 carb adjustment trick?

edit Should mention that after this run I found the factory had the primer bulb reversed. Started much easier after I fixed that.
