The tranny mounts vertically in that chassis if I remember right.

As for a cantilever setup (like a Revo), my Goliath crawler used to have that. Needless to say, I swapped it all out with a standard shock setup long ago. You can get good articulation, but the cantilever setup requires more parts than a standard setup. More parts = more stuff that can break/malfunction. I'd say it's easier to tune a standard setup too. You can change shock angles in addition to spring rates and oil to fine tune the suspension. The same can be done with a cantilever design, but it requires swapping in new cantilevers with more/less leverage and I don't think there's a huge selection of cantilevers out there.
