Default RE: HELP! Glue disaster

What I find works very well is this.

Take an old clean rag and put it over the area.

Drop Acetone on it until it is soaked.

Acetone will dissolve the CA over time, but the problem is that Acetone evaporates VERY quickly.

The rag will keep the fumes and liquid closest to the covering from evaporating away.

After 2 or more minutes, wipe the area with a cloth or towel dipped in acetone. The initial application "loosens" the CA but it doesn't remove it.
Wiping will remove SOME of the now loose CA.

Now repeat the whole process.

Usually I need several applications to get rid of everything.

WD40 can be used to eliminate the white haze left on the covering.
