I emailed TBM to ask about

what exactly comes with the kit
.possiblity of a kit on the next order
what glue is used
where it was put together (I assumed China)
What hinges are used
Cockpit kit (not available currently)


I've wanted one of these to be my intro to jets since they don't cost alot ($599 kit was cheap! compared to many other planes). Figured I could move to something more scale quickly with this plane.

But I doubt I'd get an ARF version. I've seen chinese work on 35% and 40% IMAC/3-D ARFs that are all wood. Glue joints are usually weak at best and on these planes there is room to go in and fix it before you fly, I doubt that here.


As for the wing I am pretty sure its foam and the center is plywood built up like the original.
