Default RE: Clean Muffler

It si aluminum so it will oxidize especially when it heats up and cools down. Its a fucntion of the material and the temperature changes.

You can use Aluminum Polish. Here in the USA we have a product called Mother's Aluminum polish.

I'm sure your country has a similar brand of product. Its just metal polish that is for aluminum. You will have to do this all the time to keep the muffler looking like new.

You can also clean the gunk off from the oil in your fuel using Brake cleaner. Just don't do it with the muffler on the engine. You will need to washer is well with soap and water before getting it near the engine again. The solvents in the cleaner like Brake cleaner will destroy the silicone parts int he YS engine.
