I am thinking in test a Mejzlik 24 x 10 this week end because with the Top Flite 22 x 10 the plane, Yak 54 GP, goes very fast and keep flying at low RPM, so landings are so longs. What do you think about?
The Vess 23A, Xoar 23x8, and MSC 23x8 are excellent breaking props.
I tried a MSC 24x8 prop on my best DL and only got about 6000rpms out of it... To much prop, to much heat, etc... 23x8 of any good prop is the best prop for the DL50.
A Mejzlik 24x10 likely will give you the same breaking effect as the 22x10. The common part is the 10 pitch of both props. The added disc effect of the Mejzlik will help, but you will still notice the 'fast'.
