Default RE: DL-50 engine

When you talk about negative expo, and the other guy says he uses about 30%. This can be very confusing to most who have Computer radios. JR neg. expo makes the center more sensitive and pos. expo makes the center less sensitive. Know on the other hand Futaba is just the opposite neg.expo desensitizes and pos. expo senisitizes the stick at center. I try not to asume every body knows this, so could you guys explain a little more in detail to which radio set ups you are using. I'am sure evey body else has the same question. The new guys to 3D could get them selfs in a world of hurt by interperating this incorrectly, Just a few in my heard.
One of our members just got a DL50 and has had the same problems with his stock muffler.
I suggested a negative expo of 30% at point 3 on a JR9XII (9303) throttle curve. Just for the record i now have 3 DL's and my findings so far are:

1 LSN is always set a little too rich from the factory, and need leaning a little after the first couple of tanks through the motor, very small amounts at a time....
2 Bob Pastorello's manual choke setup is the easiest and lightest way to do that. See his website.
3 The STD dl silencer is LOUD LOUD LOUD, they react very well to headers and tuned pipes designed for the DA50, i have seen 7800 rpm on an ES piped DL with a 23 x 8!!!!!
4 Best prop for me has been the Mejzlik 23 x 8, if a little noisey.
5 All my engines are running on 45:1 fully synthetic 2 st motorcycle oil from Halfords (UK motor store).
6 All my engines have been run in, in the air...no bench running.
7 They're fantastic!!!
