I don't think either the promo kit or the engine come with a manual. I have the promo as well and no manual. You can download it here [link=http://www.grpgandini.com/pdf/manuale2008-05-07.pdf]GRP User manual[/link] You will not find the factory needle settings or any kind of shim requirements in this manual. I'm not sure why they did not include this information. Many people are stating different factory needle settings which leads me to believe that they don't necessarily have a "Default Needle Setting". my .28 came stock at 4 turns out on the HSN and 4.5 turns out on the LSN.
