I picked up a Homelite 18" chainsaw that has the Homelite 45cc engine. I have never converted a Gasser before. I've tried searches and I've visited the RS website, but haven't come accross a step-by-step for this engine. Is it a complicated conversion? Can someone whose done it tell me what's involved more or less? All I've gathered so far is cutting off the shaft that sticks out the rear, cutting off the chain oil resevoir, and buying a prop hub adapter. There's gotta be more.
