Default RE: Ultimate 120

ORIGINAL: RR24

Flew my 120 today for the first time, the plane flew very well, but would be easy to ground loop if you not ready with the rudder if you hit all the power at once, the 26cc didnt have the power i was hoping for, but this is my first gasser, and i am sure i had it to rich, so i am sure it will do better with a little more tunning

If you find that you are having ground looping problems, do this...

- Try to "toe in" the wheels a bit.
- Replace the tail wheel assembly for one that will permit the plane to sit in a more level position.

In effect you want the nose not to point "up" as much when the plane sits on the ground.

This will have a rather dramatic ( improvement ) effect during run-up.

For a suitable replacement tail wheel assembly WITH an included rubber wheel and aluminum hub at an unbelievable price check this out.

Yes you see that correctly... $1.98.
